Through his legal studies, practical legal training, and professional experience, Sumer has developed a strong appreciation for the importance of accessible legal services, effective advocacy, and compassionate representation. Sumer holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from La Trobe University and has completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in June 2026.
