Parminder completed his legal studies in India, and then worked as a lawyer in India. It wasn't long before he was promoted to senior lawyer, having established himself as a sought-after lawyer in family law, property law and criminal law. In 2012, Parminder and his family moved to Australia and he commenced his legal journey afresh. He completed a Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University.

Work Responsibilities
Having experienced the Australian migration system first-hand, he undertook a research thesis into Australia’s migration laws. He was awarded First Class Honours, an achievement of which he's very proud. Soon afterwards, Parminder completed his professional qualifications, allowing him to work as a lawyer in Australia. Parminder went to work as a Law Graduate. With his first-hand experience of the Australian migration system, his fluency in Hindi and Punjabi and his Indian heritage, Parminder excelled. His empathetic approach was widely appreciated. His ability to communicate with clients in their own language meant their migration visa applications were more accurate and processed more efficiently. Later, after identifying that many of his migration clients needed legal services, Parminder set up the agency's legal branch. Parminder was soon in demand as a criminal and family lawyer. Parminder gained an excellent understanding of the stress that clients often experience when consulting a lawyer for a personal legal issue. A lawyer can make a huge difference to how a client experiences the legal system. This set Parminder on a course to practice law in a more meaningful way.
