Annette is a skilled criminal and family lawyer. She’s known for her ability to take charge of a situation: to assess a legal problem quickly, find a solution, and to act decisively. Her work is meticulous and consistent.
With a strong desire to use her legal skills to help her community, Annette appreciates the complexities of family relationships and how they interact with criminal law and family law. She plans to undertake further study in family violence issues because they can cause particular hardship and stress for her clients.
Annette believes that everyone has the right to the best possible legal representation, no matter their background. This belief underpins her work, which is why her clients find her a trustworthy lawyer and an excellent communicator.
Her professional experience includes the legal, retail and service industries as well as volunteer and community work. Exposure to these sectors has helped her build diverse skills and an impressive reputation.
Annette grew up in New Zealand in an Indian and western household. She is fluent in both Punjabi and English and is looking forward to strengthening her involvement with her local Sikh and Punjabi communities.
“Annette has an impressive ability to make decisions under pressure,” says Parminder Sandhu. “She also sees tremendous value in working in a team. Her ability to communicate with her clients in straightforward language is a rare skill in the legal world.”
